Are you looking for a challenge, interested in part-time work, and excited about planning events? If so, you may be one of our next Supervisory Returning Officers (SRO) needed across Saskatchewan.
The SRO plays a key role in preparing for and executing electoral events, such as by-elections and the next scheduled general election for October 2024. In this role, you will help organize and manage these events by providing guidance to the returning officers in your zone. Your work ensures that these events are conducted in a fair and impartial manner.
An SRO is needed for Zone 4 which includes the provincial constituencies of Arm River, Humboldt-Watrous, Lumsden-Morse, Moose Jaw North and Moose Jaw Wakamow. Applicants should live in one of these constituencies.
The SRO is part of the Elections SK team during the entire election period from now until October 2024. The time commitment increases in the two months leading up to election day and one month after.
The ideal candidate will have:
preferably post-secondary education;
proficiency and ability to operate computer-based systems
basic understanding of election legislation and regulations
alignment with Elections SK values
strong leadership abilities
