Description

Experience
3 or more years of experience in a legal office, specifically in the field of corporate law
Land management experience and contracts experience would be an asset, but not a requisite
5 or more years of experience in a professional office environment, assisting senior management
Proven record to commitment to a position

Skills
Multi-task/prioritize tasks
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, Zoom, WhatsApp Web and Windows 10, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Adobe and Outlook
Exceptional organization, time management, administrative and communicational skills
Ability to produce reports, presentations and slide-decks
Understand the importance of accuracy and attention to detail
Able to work independently with little instruction
Familiarity with corporate and commercial contracts
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under pressure

Duties
Maintain a professional and well-organized environment for the office
Prepare weekly working dockets
Assist the Executive Chairman in preparing, distributing, and presenting reports and documents
Assist with new projects and initiatives as developed by the Executive Chairman
Contribute to the administration efficiency of the  Executive Chairman's efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
Learn and become familiar with all companies under corporate umbrella
Coordinate and follow up on all communications in a professional and thorough manner.
Schedule appointments, meetings and conferences
Prepare and organize correspondence, legal documents and business contracts
Review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with procedures and grammatical usage
Utilize knowledge of legal procedures when controlling confidential materials and documents
Participate in business origination and organization
