We have two positions available, We are looking for a full time farm hand in two areas, one on the grain side and one on the livestock side . We run 500 cow calf pairs as well as a feedlot, and grain farm, Looking for someone who is a hard worker, self motivated, listens to instructions, works well by themselves and with others, can problem solve, positive attitude, willingness to learn new things. Looking for someone long term. Housing can be provided. Competitive wages, wage will be based on experience and leadership. Starting Wage $20-$30 per hr depending on experience.
Daily Duties may include (but not limited to)
- Feeding Livestock (Hay and Grain), Sorting animals, checking pens for sick animals, treating, running equipment to feed or bed with, working with Holstein's, calving cows, cleaning pens, Etc.
Driving tractor, running haying equipment and harvest equipment.
Must have:
- Minimum class 5 license, transportation, proper work clothes, experience with livestock, herd health experience.
Assets would include:
Class 1A License, grain farm experience, horse riding experience, milking experience.
