Knowledge of local Indigenous history, culture and issues;
The ability to consistently maintain a positive, professional, balanced perspective;
Excellent organizational, time-management and negotiation skills;
Strong analytical skills, sound judgment and a proactive approach to problem solving;
Excellent communication skills, both written and in person;
Focus on positive, productive relationships;
Confidence in relationship building and leadership;
Any combination of the following would be ideal; Bachelor of Fine Arts with a focus on theatre, Wicehtowin Theatre Certificate from the University of Saskatchewan, Bachelor of Social Work,
Bachelor of Arts with a focus on Sociology, completion of the Circle of Voices program, previous experience working with Indigenous youth and/or youth-at-risk;
Will consider combination of experience and education in arts;
Previous experience working with Indigenous organizations is preferred;
Proven conflict resolution and negotiation skills;
Good working knowledge and application of Microsoft suite of products;
Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Check;
Valid Class 5 Driver's license required.
