Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Perform inspections of all products from incoming materials to final product
-Document inspection results
-Reject projects for rework by confirming if the product has been reworked
- Fill out associated documentation and ensure all procedures are being followed
-Report quality problems or findings to the Quality Control Supervisor and follow up to ensure that corrective actions have/will take place
-Interface with engineering staff and/or designer for clarification or interpretation of blueprint/schematics as required
-Participate in the construction and/or revision of SOP's for inspection function
-Assist and/or train operators on part visual acceptability, measurements and process procedures as required

REQUIREMENTS
-Basic math skills
-Must have good written and verbal communication skills
-Working knowledge of measuring instruments
-Mechanical aptitude desired
-General proficiency in Microsoft Office(Excel, Word, Outlook)
