The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Centre is currently looking for a part-time Weekend Bartender for the Wild Sage Kitchen & Bar. The successful candidate will be super personable, outgoing and great at customer relationship building.
The primary function of this role is to provide quality service to restaurant and lounge customers by providing prompt and courteous service and creating beverages for restaurant servers as required. PRimary shifts will be saturday and sundays 4pm-close.
Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Take beverage orders from servers and guests
- Full knowledge of WildSage beverage and wine lists, menu items, garnishes, recipes, preparation methods, and promotions
- Maintain bar inventory and supplies and replenish as required
- Ensure compliance with provincial liquor legislation and regulations
- Practice safe work environment standards and uphold safety guidelines
Education & Qualifications:
- Minimum 19 years of age
- Valid Serve It Right is required to serve alcohol in Sask. (Must have)
- Food Safety and First Aid Certificates are considered assets
- 2-3 years of customer service experience, as well as cash handling experience is required
- Energetic and flexible, able to work under pressure
- Able to work quickly and efficiently
- Knowledge of wine types and varietals as well as proper wine pour service
