JML is currently looking for a professional to fill the role of HSE/HR Supervisor for their oilfield construction operations.
Qualifications:
5+ years field experience in a HSE role, preferably within the Oil and Gas Industry
Health and Safety Certificate (CSO, NCSO) preferred but not necessary
Auditors Certificate preferred but not necessary
Strong organizational and self-management skills. Ability to work with limited supervision, in a team environment with great attention to detail
Have the capacity to problem solve and thrive in high pressure situations
Ability to lead staff at various levels to promote loss prevention
Concise, articulate verbal and written communication skills
Require computer skills with multiple software applications
Responsibilities:
Responsible for Safety Program to maintain COR
Conduct regular inspections and monitoring of operational compliance within the company HSE program
Responsible for the maintenance and development of HSE documentation
Incident/accident preventions, investigations and root cause analysis
Training of employees for all HSE requirements
Facilitate monthly safety meetings
OH&S committee
Responsible for the recruitment & orientation of new employees
Maintain ISNetworld, Complyworks, Avetta, eRailSafe
Special Events Coordinator:
Ability to represent the company in front of clients in a professional and courteous manner at various events
Schedule and manage various public relation events as required
Creating and scheduling advertising
This is a Monday to Friday position, with the exception of some special events. Wages will be determined by the applicants ability. Benefits included with position are group health, dental, and vision. Company matching pension plan.
