With over 75 years serving the automotive, body shop, agricultural, fleet & industrial markets, Auto Electric Service Ltd is southern Saskatchewan's largest locally owned & operated automotive parts warehouse with 2 full service repair facilities.
As a member our Service Department Team you will work in a challenging and fast-paced environment to ensure the accurate and timely repair and maintenance of client vehicles.  You will be a member of a great team and compensated for your contributions!

Reporting to the Shop Foreman, the Automotive Service Technician is responsible to work efficiently, with confidence and competence. This position requires above average attention to detail, concern for the exact correctness of work, and a strong commitment to tasks completed on time. Drive, determination and a self-disciplined approach to achieving results that meet established criteria are necessary for successful job performance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
    Formal training as an Automotive Service Technician with preference going to those with full interprovincial journeyperson status.
    Possess a valid drivers license.
    Proven mechanical abilities in all aspects of automotive repair / maintenance.
    Ability to work in a team environment.
    Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
    Experience with routine maintenance operations.
    Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
    High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
    Must be able to push, pull and move equipment and supplies in excess of 50lbs.
    Must be able to distinguish colors.
    Proven computer skills including the ability to use computerized diagnostic scan tools.
    Excellent problem-solving skills
