Description

REACH has been working for over 30 years to ensure that everyone in Regina has access to safe, nutritious, culturally acceptable, and affordable food.

We are seeking an energetic, collaborative, and strategic individual for the role of Marketing and Communications Manager.  This new position will develop a plan to promote our programs and increase REACH's profile in Regina.  This is an exciting opportunity to create and manage a marketing and communications strategy for a well-established organization.

Duties include:
-Developing a marketing and communications plan for REACH that increases earned media, social media impact, and engagement with donors and the community
-Create materials including newsletters, press releases, and content for social media
-Manage our website and social media channels
-Assist in the development of a fundraising plan and assist with fundraising activities, as well as managing communications with donors

Qualifications:
-A degree in marketing, public relations, journalism or other relevant field, or a combination of knowledge and experience
-Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
-Strong knowledge of marketing and communications practices and techniques
-A working knowledge of social media and communications programs and tools
-Experience with graphic design is considered an asset
-A passion for working in the non-profit sector
-A satisfactory criminal record check

The position is currently a one-year term with the possibility of an extension or developing into a permanent position for the right candidate.
