Viterra is seeking an IT Application Specialist. The successful candidate will responsible for development and delivery of application code and associated documentation to support and enhance the overall operation of information technology systems.  This position will assist in providing continuous support for process improvements within the organization.

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of C# .NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Oracle PL/SQL is required; working knowledge of Java or PowerBuilder is an asset.
Knowledge and understanding of information systems as well as application programming, database and system design.
Knowledge of the agricultural industry will be considered an asset.

Education and Qualifications:

Minimum of five (5) years experience in related Information Technology Systems.
Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, or Data Processing Diploma would be considered an asset.

Equivalent combinations of education and experience that result in the required level of knowledge skill and competence will be considered.
