We are currently seeking an On-site Resident Manager for apartment building in Regina. This position is well suited for individual with good people skills and organization skills to manage the day to day tasks at the apartment building.
This position plays a key liaison for our organization and tenants. The onsite property manager coordinates with workers on maintenance work at the building and communicates with tenants on property issues and rental payments. The ideal candidates will work closely with the property manager to ensure smooth operations of the building.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Conduct themselves in a professional and friendly manner at all times
- Communicate with prospective residents and schedule apartment showings
- Screening of the applicants and perform reference checks
- Meet with new tenants to sign leases; arrange move-ins dates;
- Carry out various administrative duties/paperwork
serve correspondence, rent collection, etc.
- Complete unit inspection reports for tenants move-in/outs
- Receive and promptly address tenants concerns
- Perform ongoing minor building maintenance/repairs and landscaping
- Clean on a regular schedule for all common areas including entrances, lobby, elevator, hallways, stairwell, and laundry rooms
- Work with contractors to complete necessary work/repairs
- Report regularly to the property manager
- May require working some evenings and weekends
- Other duties as assigned
Other skills but not required:
- Basic computer skills (word, email, and internet)
- Experience in the rental property management
