Description

Successful applicants will be available to work a variety of shifts including day shifts, evenings and weekends. Training starts at $13/hour + tips. Once training hours & courses are complete, your wage will increase to $13.00/hr + tips & Bonuses with employee reviews performed throughout the year. We operate multiple locations in Saskatoon and our employees who do well in the Sandwich Artist position are given the opportunity to advance within the company. Health Benefits for fulltime employees are available after 6 months of employment. Fulltime Supervisors and Managers also qualify for the company RRSP contributions.

A SUBWAY Sandwich Artist greets and serves guests, prepares food, maintains food safety and sanitation standards, and handles or processes light paperwork. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position. A successful Sandwich Artist will complete University of SUBWAY online training courses in a timely manner as directed and be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Exhibit a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orders.
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and explain them to guests accurately.
- Use Point of Sale system to record the order and compute the amount of the bill. Collect payment from guests and make change.
- Perform Cash-In Procedure- accounting for all forms of money, bread, etc., during the shift.
- Prepare food neatly, according to formula, and in a timely manner.
- Check and restock items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift.
- Accept and organize delivery of stock as directed
- Understand and adhere to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards.
- Clean and maintain all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image.
- Maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the SUBWAY Operations Manual.
