Description

On behalf of a site owner, Bros Welding & Services Ltd. is currently seeking candidates for the position of Project Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for project support and coordination. Duties will include but are not limited to:
    Develop and execute projects including scope, schedule, budget, and risk
    Manage projects within the site owners Project Management Framework
    Secure project materials and resources by utilizing the site owners procurement process
    Perform field visits to coordinate resources and ensure work is safely progressing
    Identify and manage risks throughout project lifecycle
    Meet specific project KPIs as required
    Engage with relevant project stakeholders including project reporting to management
    Perform Continuous Improvement of the Project Management Process
To be successful in this position, we are looking for a candidate that can offer:
    Post-secondary education in a relevant technical field
    A PMP or CAPM designation is considered an asset
    Maintenance, project, and/or operational experience at an operating facility or a heavy industrial site is considered an asset
    Direct experience in underground potash is considered an asset
    Efficient use of Microsoft 365 Applications
    Demonstrated positive safety behavior and leadership
    Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to be flexible in managing changing priorities
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    Ability to contribute effectively within a team
    Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
    Excellent communication, planning, problem solving, organizational skills
Successful candidate will be required to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test as a condition of employment.
Hours of work will vary; however, will generally be 6 am to 4 pm  four consecutive days/week. Overtime may be required but is not the norm.
