Description

SmiRac Janitorial, a local commercial cleaning & janitorial services company based in Regina, Saskatchewan, is looking for a HR & Recruitment Officer NOC 1223 in the city of Regina. This is a full-time and permanent job. HR & Recruitment Officer will report to Finance & Administration Manager.

At SmiRac Janitorial, HR & Recruitment Officer will perform the following job duties:
    Be the first point of contact on, human resources policies, processes, programs
    Be the first point of contact for all internal & external employment-related queries
    Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews with employees
    Employment record-keeping/files maintenance, ensuring compliance, data integrity and information security.
    Ensuring timely and effective workflow management for the department by triaging incoming email requests and phone calls, and completing assigned tasks
    Implementing new human resources solutions
    Develop employment-related training materials and communications
    Ensure accurate time and absence management records, personnel files and employment & hiring forms
    Completing data entry into MS Access Database and generating required reports
    Create and monitor monthly HR metrics etc.


Education:  University diploma and/or certificate in Human Resources


Skills, Knowledge & Work Experience:

    Diploma or certificate in Human Resources, Office Administration, or related field;
    1-2 years experience in a human resources role an asset;
    Must possess excellent communication skills in speaking, writing, and even in listening
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
    Strong initiative, time management skills and demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service
    Proficient level of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
