Curriculum & Student Services Consultant
Northern Lights School Division #113 requires a continuing, full-time consultant to serve as the project lead at the division level for the OurSCHOOL Survey, as well as be a part of the designated school division graduation team. The successful candidate will work with school division personnel in the following areas: Practical and Applied Arts, K-12 Career Development, High School Curricula, Planning and Assessment, Transitions, Scholarships & Awards, and Partnerships. Supporting the Mental Health and Well-Being of students and staff as well as the Safe Schools portfolio is also a priority; therefore, the successful candidate must be open to being trained in areas related to safe schools, mental wellness, and crisis management. Position to commence August 24, 2022.
The successful candidate must have:
The ability to build relationships, engage stakeholders and improve student achievement;
A commitment to improving graduation rates;
The capacity to communicate effectively with stakeholders and commit to using the OurSCHOOL data for school improvement;
Knowledge of transition/graduation planning and career pathways;
Dedication to reconciliation in Northern Lights School Division;
A valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate;
Post-secondary credentials appropriate to the position;
Current knowledge of Saskatchewan High School Curricula, credit system and grad requirements;
A reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license
