Description

Early Childhood Educators - Level 1, 2 or 3.
Looking to hire creative and loving Early Childhood Educators.
One Term positions: start date: Oct 13, 2022 - Oct 2023.
One Full time permanent: Start date October 17th, 2022.
Will be working in a childcare center with children ages 18 months to 12 years of age. Position is open to male or female applicants.

Successful applicant MUST have a current criminal record check and First Aid/CPR.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player.
- Will provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips and special activities.
- Assist in light housekeeping duties.
- Group Health Insurance enrolment after probation period.

Early Childhood Education Skills
 - Provide opportunity for creative expression through the mediums of art, dramatic play and music
 - Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips and special activities
 - Plan and develop child care and nursery school programs
 - Assess the developmental level of children
 - Knowledge of licensing regulations
Additional Skills
 - Assist in housekeeping duties
Early Childhood Educator Assistant Skills
 - Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them
 - Prepare and serve snacks
 - Observe children and report on observations to supervisor
 - Guide children in development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
 - Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings
 - Conduct and monitor activity programs designed for young children
 - Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers
 - Arrange transition periods such as lunch and rest for children
