Description

The McKay Group of Companies is a leading manufacturer of wear parts for the Agricultural, Lawn and Garden and Rail Industries. We have two manufacturing facilities in Canada: Ralph McKay Industries Inc. in Regina and Harvest Services in Craik; as well as a manufacturing facility in the United States, Wiese Industries Inc. in Perry Iowa.  

We are looking for a Full-Time salaried Production Supervisor for our Regina operations which is our primary stamping, heat treating and forming plant for higher volume parts. We manufacture our own designs as well as custom parts for other equipment manufacturers.

As Production Supervisor you will
    Supervise Production and Maintenance Staff in a unionized environment.
    Create a high performing culture with the production team to embrace innovation and problem solving.
    Monitor through appropriately developed reporting systems plant performance and recommend, plan and implement future plant and equipment optimization strategies.
    Be pro-active in all aspects of operational safety, efficient utilization of resources, continuous improvement ideas and projects; and encourage teamwork across the departments.

Minimum 5 years experience as a supervisor in an industrial manufacturing environment is required. Knowledge of Lean and Saskatchewan OH&S requirements in a plant setting are beneficial in this role.  You must supply proof that you are legally entitled to work in Canada without sponsorship when interviewed.  No relocation will be provided.  Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
