Since 1992, Parkland Manufacturing Ltd. has delivered the highest quality custom steel fabrications to customers in a broad range of industry sectors. It has 27,000 sq. ft. of steel fabrication facilities in Esterhazy, SK, on seven acres of land. We want to grow with our needs. Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for operating, loading, unloading, packing and unpacking materials and products. It is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am 3:30 pm, as well as check-ins and overtime as needed or required. This position is situated in Esterhazy, SK.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Drive forklift, Unload and load materials and
products
Identify location of materials
Transport products manually, use hoists as
required
Operate band saw to complete jobs
Use power tools as required (ie. grinder, drill)
as required
Understand and interpret measurements in metric
and imperial
Report shortages and quality deficiencies
Various duties as assigned; maintenance of
equipment as required
Keep updated records of inventory
Comply with all company policies and procedures
Adheres to all safety protocols in the company
Required Skills
Class 5 Drivers License
Ability to speak and read English
Operation of manual transmission would be an
asset
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
(standing for long periods of time, lifting
heavy loads of up to 50 lbs, lifting from floor
to waist etc)
Work in outdoor setting
Enthusiastic and motivated
Familiarity with power tools and machinery
Attention to detail
Ability to work well with other team members
Commitment to safety rules
