Description

Melliecent Building and Yard Maintenance Ltd. is currently looking for a bookkeeper for our office located in Regina.

Duties:
*Using manual and electronic bookkeeping methods, manage financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts.
*Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, produce trial balances, keep general ledgers up to date, and prepare financial statements
*Determine amounts to be paid and prepare checks for payrolls, utility, tax, and other payments.
*Complete and submit the workers' compensation and tax remittance forms.
Completing personal bookkeeping tasks and tax return preparation
*Create accounting, financial, and statistical reports.
*Perform any other integral accounting & bookkeeping related duties, when required


Requirements:
*Can fluently communicate in English
*College level diploma, certificate, or degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or any related field is required
*One year of work experience in the field of bookkeeping and/or accounting

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, at least 30hrs/week
