The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the child care program to fulfill the goals and objectives of the centre. As a team member, it is of utmost importance to carry out mission of "Providing love, warmth, acceptance and gentle guidance in which to learn and develop."
Requirements:
- Applicants should have an Early Childhood education (ECE I or equivalent) or education in a related field.
- Valid First-Aid and CPR Certification or be willing to obtain
- Satisfactory Police Record check, TB tests and medicals are required.
Duties:
- Implementing the child care program to fulfill the goals and objectives of the Centre.
- As a team member, carrying out our mission of "providing love, warmth, acceptance and gentle guidance in which to learn and develop."
Preference will be given to individuals who have experience working as child care educators/ providers or in a related field.

- First Aid Certificate
Early Childhood Education Skills
- Provide opportunity for creative expression through the mediums of art, dramatic play and music
- Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips and special activities
Early Childhood Educator Assistant Skills
- Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them
- Prepare and serve snacks
- Observe children and report on observations to supervisor
- Guide children in development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
- Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings
- Conduct and monitor activity programs designed for young children
- Arrange transition periods such as lunch and rest for children
