Viterra is seeking an analytical and innovative problem-solver to join their team as a Market & Trade Analyst. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment providing support through market research and analysis, business intelligence, and special projects associated with new market development.

Key Responsibilities:

Identifies, evaluates, and implements research and business intelligence systems.
Gathers, analyzes, and reports on market research and business intelligence that supports senior management in decision-making.
Conducts detailed market research and produces market analysis reports. Develops recommendations for new and existing markets.
Evaluates the earnings potential of selected product/market development opportunities.
Monitors relevant international trade trends.
Collaborates with other departments on special projects.

Education and Qualifications:

Three (3) years experience in market research, analytics, and/or competitive intelligence.
Post-secondary degree in Agriculture, Business, and / or Commerce.
Technically competent in the use of visualization tools, analytical applications, spreadsheets, and databases. Experience with GIS and Tableau applications an asset.
Broad understanding of the agri-food industry an asset.

Equivalent combinations of education and experience that result in the required level of knowledge skill and competence will be considered.
