Lakefield LLP is a Saskatchewan team with a modern take on law.
We currently have an opening for a Corporate Legal Assistant. You will be responsible for handling corporate transactions including annual returns and general maintenance of corporate records.
Responsibilities include:
Preparation of documents relating to corporate annual return filings
Creation and submission of corporate filings at Information Services Corporations
Updating and maintaining corporate minute books and ledgers
Preparing ancillary documents such as resolutions and agreements
Written and oral communications with clients, accountants, and financial institutions
Preparing reporting packages to clients and accountants
Closing files and sending off site
Lawyer practice management functions as required, including calendar and task maintenance
Perform related clerical duties, such as word processing, maintaining filing and record systems, dictation, telephone calls, and photocopying
Maintenance of electronic filing system
Provide additional clerical and administrative support
Education/Experience Requirements
Minimum Education: Legal Assistant Diploma or Certificate from recognized educational institution an asset
