Under the direction of the General Manager, the Controller is responsible for supervising the day-to-day accounting functions, preparing, and analyzing financial statements, ensuring appropriate accounting control procedures are maintained, managing the year-end audit, managing the budgeting/forecasting process, and updating the spreadsheet reporting files.

Qualifications:
A CPA designation is preferred, or several years on the job training
5+ years of overall combined senior-level accounting and finance experience
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Experience with creating financial statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Excellent accounting software user and strong administration skills
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team, have fun, and learn through mistakes
An individual that understands the Agriculture industry, values its importance, and will treat customers and colleagues like family
