Responsibilities Include:
Prepare various legal documents from notes, voice mail, email, and dictation.
Organize and coordinate lawyers' schedules.
Enter lawyers' time-sheet and process monthly client billing.
Open, maintain, and close files in a timely fashion.
Photocopy, fax, and scan documents.
Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Follow office policies and standard procedures.
Qualifications:
Legal Assistant diploma or related with 3+ years of experience in a law firm.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.
Document management and practice management software experience.
A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered.
Family Law or Civil Law experience is considered an asset.
