Make an impact with our Farm Management team as a Consultant in our Cypress region. This diverse team of professionals intuitively understands the evolving challenges and opportunities of Farm Management. As a trusted advisor, you'll provide comprehensive analysis and strategic guidance that empowers clients to maximize efficiencies, enhance performance and increase profitability to protect the future of their operations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver consulting engagements focused on agriculture, agribusiness and other related industry bodies and associations
- Execute business planning, feasibility studies, strategic planning, operational planning, program review, program re-deigns, financial analysis and other forms of management consulting
- Provide industry specific expertise related to factors affecting production, alternative agricultural options, livestock and crop disease control, soil improvement, animal husbandry and feeding programs, procedures to cope with the effects of fires, floods and droughts
- Develop project plans and coordinate project logistics with clients and other stakeholders
- Design and develop high-quality deliverables including proposals, engagement letters, reports, presentations and other correspondence
- Participate in business development initiatives
- Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
Skills and Experience
- Bachelors degree in business, agriculture or other related field
- Experience working in an agriculture environment is preferred
- Working knowledge of farm enterprises, primary producer and/or agri-business is preferred
- Experience in project management as well as CMC, PMP, Lean or other related certifications are considered an asset
- 2 to 3 years of consulting experience, ideally in a client-service environment
- Experience in business and practice development is considered an asset
