Description

Our newest Kanuka Thuringer LLP office, located on 1st Avenue in Swift Current, is now accepting applications for a fulltime position which includes receptionist and general administrative duties.
Receptionist and clerking duties encompass a wide variety of duties and responsibilities including deliveries to financial institutions, the court house and other law firms as necessary throughout the day.
If you possess excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel, and enjoy working directly with the public, this position will be of interest to you.
Previous experience in a professional office setting is a great asset as well as a clerical, receptionist and/or administrative support background.
An excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written, as well as a high degree of comprehension is essential as you interact with members of the legal profession and the general public on a daily basis.  The ability to pitch in and assist with whatever task is at hand is a trait also highly valued in this position.

Daily duties of this position may include, but are not limited to:
-answering the main reception phone line for a group of lawyers and support staff
-maintaining electronic and physical filing systems
-photocopying/scanning/binding documents
-lending clerical assistance to the legal assistants and lawyers as necessary
-general duties such as tidying meeting rooms and public areas as well as being mindful of overall office appearance at all times.
