Description

THE POSITION
Under the direction of the Urban Family Services Program Manager, the Urban Family Services Program Coordinator is responsible for maintaining specially designed, unique family support programs and services aimed to address the healing and wellness needs of Saskatoons Urban Indigenous population. This position requires excellent client service and support skills with the ability to lead and work collaboratively with frontline staff and diverse clientele. The Program Coordinator is responsible for effective and efficient casework management, supervisory support, with particular emphasis on quality service delivery. This is a term position ending September 1, 2023.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Areas of responsibility includes the following programs: Creative Healing for Urban Members (CHUMS), Providers of Aboriginal Lifestyle Supports (PALS), and Children First.
-Maintain documentation, records, systems, and procedures that are essential components of good service delivery and sound case management practices that demonstrate services are being delivered according to program agreements.
-Support direct service staff in the area of documentation and case management and in the proper use of tracking progress and key performance indicators.
-Ensure that timesheets are completed and submitted correctly on a bi-weekly basis, manage and authorize overtime, approve vacation requests and monitor vacation schedules to ensure appropriate coverage.
-Coordinate monthly reporting, compile statistics and prepare program reports.
