Experience working as an administrative assistant. Legal assistant training or experience in a legal environment would be an asset.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to work independently, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and dependable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management and ability to prioritize and schedule work load.
Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm.
Desire and ability to learn new skills.
General office duties such as answering the telephone, scheduling appointments, client reception, and file management.
Provide professional and courteous service to clients.
Preparation, editing, and formatting of correspondence and documents.
Dictation.
Filing, sorting, and distributing mail.
