Description

Responsible for Purchasing and Contracts Management.
Negotiate the lowest cost possible (national production builder pricing) while maintaining high quality.
Creatively source new products to help lower cost and improve the quality/aesthetic appeal of our houses.
Create Takeoff for quantities of items such as tile, hardwood, countertops, concrete, interior doors, etc.
Budgeting
Prepare a preliminary budget based on previous data & knowledge base of current costs.
Source new trades and verify capabilities and availability.
Bids should be accepted based on cost, quality & availability among other factors such as communication & professionalism of trade contractors or suppliers.
Repurpose or sell inventory that is no longer needed for the business
Oversee outstanding supplier payables and spend amounts to ensure both parties are meeting contracted terms
