The main duties for this position are as follows:
Assist in managing the overall performance and functioning of the store;
Track purchase and deliverer orders by contacting domestic and foreign suppliers and logistic companies;
Complete daily paperwork and computer entries in a timely manner as established by the general manager;
Schedule shifts and assign tasks for workers to ensure the store functioning;
Recruit and train employees;
Collect cash and deposit it into the bank everyday, and maintain and balance of cash, debit and credit accounts by using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems;
Account inventories every week and find the differences with the IT system;
Trackstocks, supplies and place orders every three days;
Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospective suppliers in Asian countries;
Manage correspondence, e-mail, letters, packages etc.
Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls and for utility, tax and other bills;
Manage accounts payable and receivable;
Abilities to handle unexpected events such as thefts, labour shortages, equipment malfunction, extreme weather, and so on;
Ensure security of all assets inside and outside;
Other duties assigned by the general manager.
