Wage: $25.00 - $44.00

Responsibilities:
-Use existing work orders, work instructions, and department procedures to complete weldments to an approved quality standard
-Read drawings in order to assemble parts in a fixture
-Produce welds in all positions and using tooling provided to produce high-quality weldments
-Follow the instructions of the supervisor to complete given tasks in preparation, tacking, and welding
-Use other hand power tools such as angle grinders, drills, die grinders, and oxy acetylene torch as required to complete tasks
-Detect minor defects in the parts being used or the completed component as well as minor defects in weld quality
-Ensure that equipment being used on regularly is in good working order

Skills & Qualifications:
-Required to pass weld skill test
-Ability to work independently
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
-Ability to read blueprints
-Willingness to learn new skills
