The Kinistin Saulteaux Nation (KSN) is seeking a highly motivated individual to fulfil the role of Community Health Nurse.  Under the supervision of the Kinistin Wellness Health Director, the successful applicants responsibilities will be to:
The Community Health Nurse will provide community based, culturally relevant programming and services as well as support initiatives and strategies that aim to improve health outcomes associated with maternal, infant, child, and family health. The focus of care is on health promotion, disease and injury prevention, health protection, health surveillance, population health assessment, and emergency preparedness and response. The nurse will provide optimal client services by working with team members in the planning, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of services

As a member of the Health and Wellness Team, the successful candidate will provide comprehensive holistic community health nursing and programming. The Community Health Nurse will report directly to the Director of Health & Wellness and will receive clinical supervision and 2nd level support from the Saskatoon Tribal Council.
