Description

The Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety has a career opportunity for self-confident and positive role models to work at Pine Grove Correctional Centre (PGCC) as a permanent part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety is responsible for providing a fair justice system that upholds the law and protects the rights of all individuals in Saskatchewan; promotes safe and secure communities; and provides legal and justice policy advice to assist government.

The successful candidates must be an advocate for their patients, be honest and reliable, and treat everyone with dignity and respect. They must also be committed to the pursuit of excellence, exhibit leadership and professionalism, embrace diversity and equality, and be responsible and accountable.

Typically, this knowledge is obtained through a two-year diploma program from an approved post-secondary education institution.
