Job Duties & Responsibilities

Setup and prove out CNC Programs
Carry out inspection of completed pieces
Detect and correct programs or machining malfunctions
Validate the materials (measure before cutting and check the condition of the surface)
Read blueprints, drawing and engineering information
Operate machine and perform efficient to meet production standards
Keep track of work orders
Maintain a clean and organized work-space
Maintain and facilitate repairs
Comply with all company policies and procedures
Adheres to all safety protocols in the company
Required Skills

Minimum 1 year experience running a CNC Plasma/Laser/Waterjet table is an asset, but not necessary. Saskarc will train the right candidate
CAD/CAM diploma is an asset
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 lbs, lifting from floor to waist etc)
Enthusiastic and motivated
Ability to work independently
Familiarity with power tools and machinery
Attention to detail
Ability to work well with other team members
Commitment to safety rules
