Description

The Systems & Revenue Analyst is responsible for developing and administering various information systems for the Water, Waste & Environment Department. This position reports to the Coordinator, Landfill Business Operations.

Some duties include:

-Interact with various department staff who use systems such as GEOWARE, ORACLE, and Cashier/Point of Service to determine and address common problem and opportunity areas.
-Liaise between department staff and Information Systems to ensure the needs of the department are met as they relate to technological applications. Participate in the assessment and selection of software solutions to satisfy identified system -requirements.
-Contribute to the development of appropriate systems by adhering to corporate standards and ensuring consistent implementation and usage of the system as well as identifying necessary modifications.
-Oversee the testing of new software applications, the integration of various systems and related processes.
-Assist with the development of policies and procedures related to system processes.

Typically, the knowledge, skills and ability are obtained through the completion of a University degree in Business Administration or Accounting accreditation and three (3) to five (5) years of experience or demonstrated finance, training and project related work experience.
