-Process customer orders accurately while providing great customer service.
-Fulfill customer orders and provided recommendations as needed.
-Assist the Butcher during storing and other daily tasks.
-Responsible for the portioning of all meats and other duties assigned by the Head Butcher.
-Learn the different types of cut steak.
-Cut/wrap meat and trimmed fat from special cuts.
-Clean equipment and general area in the meat department
-Work in the butcher's shop breaking down beef, chicken, and different types of fish.
-Prepare and place meat cuts and products on the display counter to appear attractive and catch the shopper's eye.
-Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery to ensure meat quality.
-Estimate requirements and order or requisition meat supplies to maintain inventories.
-Total sales and collect money from customers.
