Essential Job Functions
1. View daily MRP messages.
2. Analyze part usage and history to see if order quantity suggested by MRP is reasonable.
3. Determine whether or not to reorder new stock or reposition inventory from 9542
4. Create POs and submit orders to outside vendors
5. Create ST/OT and submit to production for internally manufactured parts
6. Create ST/OT and submit to warehouse for purchased parts
7. Coordinate incoming parts orders with 9541 orders
8. Coordinate orders for internally manufactured parts with production schedule when possible.
9. Analyze inventory required by upcoming runs in 9541 and see if there is old stock in 9540 that can be used up in production and replaced by newer stock if still required 9540
10. Analyze OSMI reports
11. Work with vendors and couriers to ensure best price
12. Follow up on overdue PO items as needed
13. Update pricing in JDE
14. Review negative inventory lists monthly and fix as needed
15. Maintaining the kits and parts that are exchanged
16. Ensuring that all WG kits and safety stock kits are neatly and properly labeled
17. Problem solving discrepancies between the physical inventory and our inventory system (JDE)
