Description

The Office & Communications Coordinator will provide to the SES:
-Reception
-Staff & Board support
-Volunteer management
-Member & donor support
-Creation, delivery, and management of communications materials

Ideal experience:
-Office administration
-Volunteer management
-Social media management
-Website management
-Designing communication materials, such as annual reports, newsletters, posters, and other branded materials
-Writing web, newsletter, and social media content
-Co-operating with the Media
-Public speaking
-Managing staff IT queries for both Mac and Windows operating systems
-Microsoft 365, Adobe Software, WordPress, Zoom are required skills
-Online graphic design tool, email marketing platforms, donor/membership management software, social marketing platforms and business tools, and digital marketing/social media advertising tools will be an advantage

-Demonstrated strength in time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
-Attention to detail and accuracy
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to share information quickly and effectively
-Demonstrated team player
-Competence in working independently and being creative and flexible in approaching different situations and challenges that may arise
-Ability to assess situations to determine the importance, urgency, and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization
-Post-secondary education in business or office management and/or two-years related experience
-A good understanding of local environmental issues and their solutions
-Experience or interest in fundraising and membership development
-Work or volunteer experience in a non-profit setting
-Ability to flex time as required for occasional evenings or weekends, including monthly board meetings
-Able to work in the SES office in Saskatoon
