MANAGER OF OPERATIONS(Public Works & Civic Facilities)
The Resort Village of Candle Lake, Saskatchewan is seeking the services of an energetic and motivated individual to assist them in directing and monitoring the activities of their Public Works Department  and Civic Facilities as their MANAGER OF OPERATIONS(MO).
Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the MO is responsible for all aspects of managing the civic facilities and public works function of the organization. Currently, the department employs 4 full time and 5 seasonal staff and is responsible for an overall 2022 capital and operating budget of $5 million.
Ideally, you will have a Certified Civil Engineering Technologist Certificate or an equivalent discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution with a minimum of three (3) years management experience in an municipal environment, a valid Class 5 license and possess well developed written and verbal communication skills. A combination of other education and experience may also be considered. The incumbent is also expected to relate to and communicate with customers, co-workers, contractors and the general public in a congenial and courteous manner.
