Description

Pharmasave #466, located in Martensville, SK is currently accepting resumes for one (1) part-time Pharmacy Assistant position.

--8 to 24 hours per week
--This location is open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm every day.
--The usual shifts will fall between these days and times.

Responsibilities:
--Performing specific dispensing functions as outlined by provincial regulations and standards of practice (under the supervision of a pharmacist).
--Receive a written prescription from customers.
--Locate the medication, select the prescription container, and count/pour the medication.
--Attach the label to the prescription container.
--Ensure that the original container, prescription container contents, and label are checked and initialed by the pharmacist.
--Regularly phone customers for unclaimed prescriptions.
--Perform other tasks as outlined by the pharmacy manager or staff pharmacists.

Qualification and Requirements:
--Preference will be given to Pharmacy Students or those who have at least 1-year of retail Pharmacy experience.
--Due to the sensitive nature of this position the successful candidate must complete a Criminal Record Check.
