DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Location: Pilot Butte, SK              
Position: Part Time Permanent

Ranch Ehrlo is seeking for highly motivated individuals to fill a part-time permanent Youth Care Worker position to start immediately.

The Youth Care Worker provides care and support to vulnerable persons with complex needs, behavioural issues, developmental disabilities, mental health disorders, and/or other related issues. The Youth Care Worker is actively engaged and fully participates in all aspects of the children, youth, and/or adults residential experience, providing care, support, and role modelling. The Youth Care Worker works to provide the participants with a safe, nurturing, predictable, and structured living environment.  

Education and Professional Certification
Completion of a high school diploma.
A certificate, diploma, or degree in child and youth care (CYC) or in a related field of study is an asset.

Experience
One (1) year of experience working with children, youth, and/or adults with behavioural, cognitive, mental health, and/or developmental challenges.

Duties and Responsibilities
Services
Provide care and support to vulnerable persons with complex needs, behavioural issues, developmental disabilities, mental health disorders, and/or other related issues.

Leadership
Provide support and guidance to potential employees, practicum students, and volunteers as directed by the unit manager.

Management of Resources
Provide input to the operational budget and the units capital plan.

In accordance with the agencys COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing Policy, all new employees are required to be fully vaccinated. If you are the successful candidate you will be required to provide proof of COVID vaccination status.

Salary range:  $23.16 to $29.94 per hour.
