CUPBOARD BROTHERS CABINET FACTORY of Regina, SK
is looking for an Estimator/Project Manager capable of estimating and managing all aspects of commercial millwork and residential cabinetry projects.
Key aspects include confirming scope of work, building and maintaining a critical path schedule, reviewing shop drawings, ordering long lead and specialty items, identifying, and submitting tenders, change orders, coordinate installers.
The Estimator/Project Manager will:
-Estimate Costs and prepare bids.
Communicate budgets internally and externally.
-Manage Gross Margin to Company expectations
-Source specialty materials/processes as required
-Coordinate between Company, General Contractor and Architect
-Expand Supplier base to include needed  subcontractors/installers
-Formulate Requests for Information (RFI)
Desired Skills and Experience:
-Well-organized and detail-oriented
-Exceptional time management skills
-Able to read and understand Architectural blueprints and specifications
-Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capability
-Strong listening skills and proven ability to be a team player
-Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and strong interpersonal skills
-Documented Planning Skills: Experience developing and managing Project Plans, preparing Timelines/Critical Path, and Coordinating with Production
-Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word. Familiarity with Project and Scheduling technologies very helpful.
-Experience negotiating Contracts and Change Orders
-Experience formulating RFIs
-Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and effectively
