Located onsite in Reginas coolest independent hotel (The Atlas Hotel), the Knotted Thistle Pub is ready to add a lass or lad to the crew!

Youll have the opportunity to serve our famous yards of beer, flights of wine or scotch, and many other specialty cocktails. The Knotted Thistle also has a fun working atmosphere. Were all close mates here. The tips are excellent, the shifts are flexible, with our busiest times being evenings and weekends. This being said, evening and weekend availability is a must for this position!

The Bartender role involves exactly what you might expect; interacting with guests, pouring, mixing and serving drinks around the bar while also providing servers with beverages for their sections. Being that this is a team environment, you may also be required to assist servers in delivering food orders. Prepping the bar and completing some light cleaning duties can also be expected.

Multiple years of experience are not required, however 6 months to 1 year would be beneficial. We want someone who would enjoy talking to our friendly business clients, local regulars, and our out of town hotel guests while serving a pint or two.

It is important to be outgoing, confident, flexible, friendly, and have the ability to prioritize tasks when needed. The successful candidate must be over the age of 19 and have the Serve It Right Certificate.
