The Scheduling Coordinator position is a fast-paced job for someone who is computer savvy, has high attention to detail, is team oriented, and energized by problem solving.

Hours of Work: At least two 15 hour day shifts (between eight and twelve 15-hour shifts per month, with Agreement to Average Work Hours according to the Saskatchewan Employment Act, with overtime after 12 hours/day).
6am-9pm two days per week, with extra shifts occasionally available.
Rate of Pay: 16.73/hour + overtime after 12 hours in a day. Health benefits and pension after 6 months.

Coordinates the electronic centralized scheduling of ~85 staff for 8+ programs with 24 hour care, ensuring compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement and Saskatchewan Labour Standards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

-Minimum one year of electronic scheduling preferred
-Experience with a computerized scheduling system
-Strong technology skills required, with proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, MS Outlook
-Ability to understand and implement collective agreement and Saskatchewan Employment Standards Act provisions
-Ability to deal with difficult or sensitive situations
-Exceptional problem-solving skills
-Ability to work independently
-Excellent computer, organizational, time management and communications skills with superior attention to detail
-Unquestionable tact and confidentiality
-Collaborative communication and teamwork
-Objective, logical judgement
-Able to multitask, and prioritize competing demands
-Able to handle stress effectively and maintain focus in high pressure situations
