Description

Do you thrive on deadlines? Can you write a convincing proposal? Inclusion Saskatchewan (INSK) seeks a part-time Grant Development Specialist to write funding applications and reports in support of INSK's mission on behalf of individuals with intellectual disabilities in Saskatchewan. This detail-oriented person also supports INSK's social media marketing campaigns. The Grant Development Specialist has the opportunity to be part of a life-changing, collaborative, and creative organization that creates systemic change for people with intellectual disabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research grant opportunities to help fund INSK projects & programs
- Write grant proposals aligned with grantor standards & INSK budgetary requirements
- Maintain good working relationships with funding agencies
- Gather reporting material from program coordinators
- Draft and submit reports punctually
- Assist to develop and implement content for website, social media, and print materials
- Monitor and engage with our social media audience

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree or experience in marketing, communications, or fundraising
- Experience in grant research and writing
- Knowledge of federal, provincial, and private foundation programs is an asset
- Fluent in Microsoft Office, Zoom, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Teams, and various social media and grantor platforms
- Excellent follow-through; works well with people of diverse backgrounds
- Clear, engaging, and creative communicator
- Can work independently and with a team
- Detail-oriented. Follows specific instructions and meets deadlines punctually
- An awareness of and concern for issues surrounding individuals with intellectual disabilities
- Problem-solving, good judgment, ethical behaviour, and business practices
- Valid drivers' license and access to a vehicle. Must successfully pass a criminal record check, vulnerable sector search
