Description

We are currently hiring a commercially minded bookkeeper who will be a key role in the company.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain & enter accounting records in Simply Accounting and Paper Filing System
Maintain books of account (including but not limited to preparing checks, coding and posting invoices, preparing
deposits, journal entries, reconciliations, petty cash)
Maintain current knowledge of regulatory changes and impacts on the organization's books of account
Maintain an accurate and complete trail of supporting documentation for all financial and bookkeeping activities
Maintain up-to-date, complete and systematic filing system to support book-keeping and financial records
Establishes major economic objectives and policies for the company and prepares reports that outline the company's
financial position in the areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and future operations.
Oversee issuing of checks / payment of invoices
Prepare and issue purchase orders and requests for quote
Prepare appropriate schedules and reports
Prepare business quarterly reports and associated record keeping
Payroll preparation and benefits reconciliation and assist companys year-end preparations, such as T4/T4A/T5s, HST
returns and corporate tax returns and ROEs etc.
Receive and process accounts payable & accounts receivable invoices
Ensure dinning in,pick up,and delivery orders are organized
Ensure purchasing records are organized
Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in Accounting or Business Degree
Highly experienced in Accounting and Microsoft Office
Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff
Extremely detail-oriented, reliable, excellent communication skills, positive attitude and enjoys working in a fast-
paced and team-oriented environment.
