Description

KIM CONSTRUCTORS is currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team. We are a General Contracting and Construction Management Firm serving the City of Saskatoon and surrounding areas for 30 years. We specialize in commercial renovations, having completed numerous projects for private and public clients. We maintain positive working relationships with industry leading consultants and designers. We have worked hard to establish and maintain a vast network of top trades, this combined with our COR certification and experienced project team allows us to work on complex and challenging projects. We have fostered and maintain an excellent working environment and positive corporate culture. We provide ongoing training and continuing education to all of our personnel. New members will become eligible for full health and dental benefits after a 90-day waiting period. Other benefits include clothing and tool allowances, as well as a four-day work week.
Construction Superintendents:
The following are preferred:
Carpenter Trade Certification, or equitable experience.
5  10 Years experience with a minimum 2 years in a supervisory role.
Ability to understand project scheduling and cost control, and to read and understand project specifications and drawings.
Ability to communicate with all members of the construction team from owners to laborers.
Ability to problem solve and prioritize.
Knowledge and understanding of Construction Safety Best Practices.
Ability to implement and monitor site specific safety programs.
Willingness to learn new skills and provide training to others.    
Apprentices/Labourers:
Willingness and ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Willingness to follow policy and procedure.
Willingness to learn new skills.
Knowledge of and willingness to follow all safety policies and procedures and to provide input on development of same
