The Account Executive, Corporate Sponsorships & Ticket Sales will be primarily responsible for assisting the VP, Corporate Sponsorships & Sales with new sponsorship sales, sponsorship renewals, ticket sales and fostering partner relationships. This position will be based at the Regina Pats head office in Regina, SK.
Duties include, but are not limited to, contacting prospective sponsorship clients, developing new sponsorship and ticketing opportunities, growing relationships with clients and community partners. In addition, this position will also assist in developing and implementing the Pats overall sponsorship and ticket sales strategy with the VP, Corporate Sponsorships & Sales. The role will report to the VP, Corporate Sponsorships & Sales and require an individual who is committed to working irregular work hours, including all Pats home games (days/nights/weekends).
Responsibilities:
-Establish, build, and maintain client relationships that will increase client satisfaction and retention, including cold calls
-Ensure sponsorship and ticket sales fulfillment, both in-venue and digitally
-Provide analytics reporting and end of campaign reports to clients, as required
-General contract management
-Work collaboratively with the VP, Sales and Corporate Partnerships on revenue generation strategies
-Perform other duties, including on game days, as assigned
Required Skills:
-Exhibits professionalism as a representative of the Regina Pats
-Availability to work evenings and weekends during the hockey season
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office
-Strong English written and verbal communication skills required
-Strong strategic thinking skills required
-Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
-Excellent organizational skills
-Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
-Previous sales and partnership experience considered an asset
-Knowledge of junior hockey and sport environment considered an asset
