The Manager, Game Day Experience will primarily be responsible for ensuring Pats fans are provided with a world class in-venue entertainment experience at the Brandt Centre for all Regina Pats home games.
Duties are focused on managing all elements of the game day experience inside the Brandt Centre Pats games, including but not limited to: liaising with partners (IKS Media and Technology and Regina Exhibition Association Limited), overseeing part-time and volunteer staff, preparing game plans (scripts, rundowns etc.), and actively communicating game day activities with necessary contacts.
The position will report to the VP, Corporate Sponsorship & Sales to develop and implement the Pats game day strategy, with an emphasis on ensuring positive fan engagement and experience, while also fulfilling important sponsorship obligations. The role will require an individual who is committed to working irregular work hours, including all Pats home games (days/nights/weekends).
Duties & Responsibilities:
-Plan, attend, and execute the production of all Regina Pats home games
-Ensure all in-venue advertising and sponsorship obligations are fulfilled
-Liaise with REAL on facility related logistics
-Prepare detailed game scripting, timing, and rundowns for public address announcer, game day staff and others
-Work with video production company (IKS) on in-venue video board experience
-Oversee in-game promotions, venue activations and overall game-day arena setup
-Develop new ideas to enhance fan engagement in-venue
-Hire, train, and supervise part-time and volunteer game day staff (DJ, ice crew, in-stand host)
