Qualifications:
-Technical aptitude of AV, lighting hardware & software to include troubleshooting techniques in a live corporate setting
-Ability to direct staff while onsite
-Ability to act independently & make informed decisions
-Valid drivers license & drivers abstract
-No criminal record
Position function:
-Assist the manager with department supervision, including selection, training, mentoring, supervising, team building & setting development goals
-Adhere to the company's procedures & policies, including company dress code. This conforms to venue partners & company brand
-Manage set up, rehearsal, operate rentals requiring presentations. Troubleshoot & resolve instruction for completing client presentations, including IAV technical staff
-Responsible for the care, control & security of company property including AV equipment, recorded materials & vehicles
-Deal with client at point of service
-Work with vendors team to support technology systems
-Working knowledge of electrical & carpentry
-Excellent communication skills
-Must be available evenings & weekends for emergencies. Cell phone allowance given
Responsibilities:
-Loading & unloading AV equipment into & out of company vehicles (includes delivery & pickup)
-Setup & dismantling a wide variety of AV equipment including computer & video projection equipment, sound reinforcement equipment, AV recording equipment
-Provide direction to other Inland staff assisting in setup, operation or dismantle of AV equipment while onsite to achieve timely execution
-Clients main point of contact while onsite. Responsible for & has the authority to fulfill additions & changes the client requests
-Provide instruction regarding procedures & technical matters to technicians of lesser technical ability
-Clean equipment with approved methods, examine equipment to ensure functionality prior to it being placed back to proper area in the warehouse
-Overtime, travel & other duties as required
